St. John’s Research Institute

This project involved constructing a seminar hall to be used by the prestigious St. John’s Research Institute for International conferences around the year. The seminar hall was built with a view to having a capacity of 225 and its interiors were designed and constructed in a period of 5 months. State of the art technology was used when designing this seminar hall, including AV conferencing facilities as well as a translation facility for the international delegates.

The acoustics and lighting were designed keeping in mind the specific requirements of the client. Since the seminar hall did not have a catwalk above the false ceiling, the idea of using a drop down lighting bars was proposed to the client. After being very well received by the client, the lighting requirements were designed and installed in the seminar hall.

The Seminar Hall is named as “The Pope Paul VI Auditorium” and was inaugurated by his eminence William Cardinal Levada on 16th January 2011.
